Central guys and their passions
The groupings pictured below depict some of the loves and lives of a few of the guys from BCHS Class of 1967.

For Art Milano, some things never change!
"And many a joke had he."
In over thirty years since the original photos at left were taken, there have been many changes. Hair and clothing styles differ, the landscape has grown up, and the basketball hoop has been traded for a set of motion detector lights. The one thing that has remained the same is Art Milano's love for Corvettes.
In the photo collage, Art is shown with sister Freddie and his red Vette (top left) and directly beneath in the black and white photo with sister Barbara. Both photos were recently recreated in the same place with the same people. The only difference is the color and year of the Corvette.
Gordon Yanke adds spice to life
"Friends, many...foes, none."
Can't seem to get to school on time...always joking...polite," according to the BCHS 1967 yearbook. His involvements during high school included Athletic Association, Chess Club, German Club (vice-president in senior year), Ski Club, and Swim Team.
Today, Gordon enjoys camping and gardening, as well as breeding, showing, boarding, and judging llamas.
At right, Gordon is pictured with Angelica at his Ohio Spice of Life Llamas farm. The inset shows his senior photo.
Paul Rabin
"To lead wisely is his proven talent."
Paul's yearbook quote is probably a reference to his tenure as student council president during senior year. This was not his only involvement, he immersed himself in all aspects of school life: sports, drama, music, etc.
Photo at far left is the Thomas H. Patterson basketball team (Paul is in first row, center); top right shows Paul and wife Ann; bottom right he is holding Cecil Rabin in front of his Alabama residence. Inset shows yearbook picture.

Doyle Revisits Camelot
"To reach the unreachable stars--this is my quest."
Although the quote that accompanies the photo of former classmate Joe Doyle (inset) in the yearbook is from Man of LaMancha, the montage at left comes from Camelot. Joe first appeared as Mordred when BCHS staged the play. Upper left in the montage he portrays King Pellinore. Directly below is Arthur (George Hartpence) getting ready to watch Guenevere (Caril Thompson, Hartpence's real-life fiancée) be sent to the flames. Upper right, Arthur meeting Sir Lancelot (George Reilly). Below right is King Pellinore with Arthur. Joe is hardly the sole talent in his family. In addition to directing Camelot, wife Cheryl also made the armor and chain mail worn by the knights. "A very clever lass is my Cheryl," according to Joe. We tend to agree.
